Not much use to me as I don't have a centre stand.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

The thing with using turntables is that it makes it even more difficult to get the bike on the centre stand, and if you are one of the owners who struggle anyway (and lots do) then that just adds to your woes.

I have never used one, but with the amount of weight on my front wheel (even with my Sport Cases fitted) I don't know how I would turn it round.

Even with all my considerable (but less than it used to be) weight on the SW-Motech Alu Rack to the extent that my feet are off the floor, I can only just get the front wheel to lift. I certainly couldn't rotate the bike on a turntable under my bike.

Brian (who would love to see someone using it on a K12/13 without a bunch of mates or Guy the gorilla in attendance)

The link I posted to youtube Brian eliminates the need to lift the front wheel.

don't y'all just lift the back end around? isn't that what the grab handles are for ?  :P
(Ken who can barely turn himself around in his garage and hasn't worried about the bike falling over in there for years!)

A friend has both of his bikes on one of the sidestand type and it works very well for him in his garage - a double.

There used to be the ghetto version which was two tim trays with thin layer of heavy weight engine oil or gear oil between them.

I know, but it isn't a turntable, it's a dolly! Martin's query was about the turntable thingy and that other whatever it was.

Brian (who thinks the beauty of the turntable is that it takes up almost no room in t'garage)
