yet another web based route planner

Don't remember seeing this posted before, but I may be wrong ...
I've used hotels in the Motor Bike Hotels group for a number of years and they are usually quite good, but they also have a route planner with a nice curvy routing option (naturally with their hotel locations - mostly Germany, Austria and northern Italy) .It makes a good supplementary tool alongside Basecrap and RouteLab - and its free.

Mike, I did hear that there was another guy who used the Motor Bike Hotels group but I never thought I would meet him...as it were!

Lots of great memories from some of the best and at least one of the worst - but let's not go there, I certainly won't again!

Either you speak better Cherman than do I or they e-mail you in English, which they don't with me.

Great to know about the routing app, the more the merrier.

Brian (who is still waiting to be told his tsble is ready, but he isn't hungry after all these years 🙄 )

Definitely some mixed experiences some very good, others ... 'interesting'!
Most of the time I don't book ahead and just see whats available when I feel like stopping.

Spoke too soon, just got an e-mail, in English, with a link to their route planning app.

For me, the best bit about a hotel in the group is that the owners are drivers and riders. Any hotel owner will be able to tell you how to get to a local market or beauty spot. Having someone who enjoys driving and riding the local roads as opposed to just 'using' them is a huge bonus.

They know the good bits, the unused bits, the challenging bits and the easy bits. They use sat-navs and can plug routes in for you, sending you off to great little restaurants or bars, doubtless owned byfriends, but that doesn't matter. When you stay in one, by and large you feel as though you are somewhere familiar.

A little nudge on this baby, since someone reminded me about it today:

https://kurviger.de/en

Some useful features:
- round trip option (useful if you want to test the quality on a loop from your house - it did a pretty good job for my area)
- option to decide approximate heading
- wriggliness options
- export feature
