I'm surprised this didn't happens sooner, given all the noise about that chiefy police guy having every biker stopped because he wanted to get rid of us.

I wish they'd mentioned more than just "4 deaths since 2012" in their statistics though. Seeing as from a quick google there have been far more incidents and pursuits and whatnot going on.

Anyway. I'm sure it's just a part of many "road safety measures" they've implemented right... oh wait.

Oh, how we would all have loved a go with one on the Reclaim Norh Wales ride out. Assuming Brunstrom was still the target  :D

Ooo ooo, I enjoyed that as much as a gratuitous tasering. Here's the A5 at Swallow Falls, 12th Oct 2009, I think:

The BBC can't even get the road number correct? Children working in what should be a grown-up outfit.

You'd think with all the noise about 'fake news' that everyone would be putting in place processes for checking every piece of content before publishing.

I know it's a crazy idea right, in the era of having to have news every moment of the day :/. Nobody bothers with proof reading for grammar let alone the actual content!

...and don't even start me on the incorrect use of the word 'the'.

I'm sick of listening to otherwise educated and intelligent folks, even on the BBC, stilting the flow of their reports and commentaries with the constant use of 'thuh' instead of 'thee' before a vowel sound. This lazy speech affectation started in the US, spread to New Zealand and is now infecting the islands of the UK.

That's thuh US, thee islands and thuh UK in case anyone here has caught the bug  ::)

Why do so many start a sentence with the word 'So' especially answering a question. It's totally meaningless in it's context. I just lose interest and switch off.  :o

So, um, thinking time?

And whilst we're on a rant...

Question: why do people start a question with the word 'question'?
I usually reply sarcastically 'Answer: blah blah...'

Is it due to the Australian habit of lifting the tone at the end of a sentence (now common in UK), and listeners are no longer sure if it's a statement or a question being spoken?

Sorry Rich, is the above rhetorical or are you actually asking?

;)
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Show you know what you're doing and use your rear brake!
