If you know of a Motor Sport model for sale let me know.

They're suddenly a bit thin on the ground (at a sensible price, anyway). Maybe they get put away for autumn. Ones that are lower mileage than yours are going to make it a bit harder too.

As a price guide (I bought one 6 months back) you're looking at £10-12k, unless it's 'high' mileage (20k+ or so, which isn't really high, but it puts people off).
In winter that may drop £500 or so, of course.

The bit I forgot* to factor in was the value of buying from a BMW dealer in terms of the warranty. They normally give you 24 months, which is around £750-800 worth.
And peace of mind - in that it will be in decent serviced condition.

*forgot = BMW dealer warranties expire if you buy the bike via a non-BMW dealer - which is what I did. Whereas a personal BMW annual warranty can be passed on to the new owner. A subtle ~£350 difference. Hey ho, you learn.

Slightly different but almost the same spec (forged wheels is the only difference, I think), but low mileage, and a good price:

https://www.gumtree.com/p/bmw-motorbikes/bmw-k1300s-30th-anniversary-edition.-immaculate-5000miles./1314642122

Description looks pretty honest.
I'd want to know what the other 3 keepers were doing, though. Or is that a typo for 3 keepers total - people do that quite often.
And does he have a warranty?

The price has dropped twice, according to the web - £9150 -> £8650 -> £7995, so it's been around a while, but probaby not sold because it's not on the right sites (IMHO).

But it's not a Motorsport. Hey ho.

looks like a nice one!

I just like the Motorsport colours.

I am sure something will come along.
