Errr 4 wheel question. Help pleeease.
« on: May 13, 2018, 08:55:55 pm »
Hope nobody minds me adulterating the forum too much but I happen to know that many of you clever people are also partial to 4 wheel BMW's as well as two wheeled ones.
Anyway, I picked up a nice clean E91 3 Series Touring today and all is well apart from one small thing, the right hand headlight rings are not illuminating properly as you can see from the attached pic although power is going to them.
Can someone suggest the reason and better still the solution.
Thanks.

Two types used on them the early one is a bulb directed into the plastic ring, the bulb go's black, just change the bulb,
the later one is LED and the ring lamp will need replacing.

Thanks Brian, so far so good. Its booked in for two weeks time to get the recently announced recall done where it was admitted that they could indeed cut out at any time due to an electrical issue..........eek.
Will get them to do a basic service and report back on anything they find, its got a FSH and runs and sounds perfect so fingers crossed I bought a good in.Lets hope its as good as my K12S,bet not many people say that!! :o ::)
