K1300S now in Reiten Motorrad
« on: April 16, 2018, 09:46:02 am »
Just for info (hence not in the For Sale Section), my K1300S is now in Reiten Mottorad in Suffolk. It won't be in there for long, but if anyone is after a good condition bike, it is there and is likely to go for a good price.

A great atmosphere at this shop, and they had their first ride out on Sunday with over a hundred bikes turning up. A ride out through the country side and then back to the shop for a good chat, free coffee and a BBQ, and for those who joined the queue a free bike wash. All in all a good day out  :)

I need to pay them a visit ... just to be nosey! :)  They are just around the corner!

As you say Brian, it's a real shame that, unless BMW pull a new sports tourer "out of the woodwork" in the next 9 months, this'll be my last season of BMW ownership. (Excluding my 1983 R100CS)
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Show you know what you're doing and use your rear brake!

I took a look in there on Sunday. They are not officially open until May 15th. There was a white secondhand K1300S in the showroom.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

What I want to know is what is a "bad price" and who is this "good price" good for?! :P
