  • Modifications and add-ons:: I had no bling on my K12 and was proud of it! And it never, ever let me down, honest! And it still had the o.e. battery going strong, honest!

A most excellent read there Tom shall keep returning to it.

I remember when we were in NZ and we did a trip to the Coromandel Coast, unfortunately on 4 wheels, and were stunned by the natural beauty and the breath taking series of bends that seemed to go on forever. Hardly any traffic to speak of more sheep than vehicles and every other bend you just had to stop and take in the views bloody shame that we were not on two wheels. Still a brilliant country for biking though.

A good find; thanks, Tom. Touring NZ on a bike is an ambition of mine. However, the realist in me probably accepts that it's one I won't realise in full. However, Mrs Dusty hasn't ruled out a motor home tour there, so I just might manage a few miles on two wheels when she isn't looking. ;)
