The GS goes well and handles and brakes well too, however it is noisy, vibrates more than any bike I have ever owned, including through its whole frame into the bars and I reckon I could feel it vibrating my rib cage as well !

As for the build quality not too hot IMHO, ah well loads of folks clearly love them.

I concur, I had a brand newun as a loaner for 3 weeks or more last year, engine was noisier than my old 1100S oilhead, and yes after 3 weeks the centre stand was a rusty mess. Not bad to ride though, the extra 15bhp doesnt sound much but it goes like stink in comparison to the earlier GS's.
