E-mail arrived two hours ago Tom.
It fits under the rear plastic cover on the right side.
Don't know if its as good as the GS-911, but its chipper.

To tell you the truth, No. Being retired from Army now and living only a mile from my local rep and having established a very good rapport with head and the other mechanics, so good that every time need something they always more than helpful, believe at this point don't need one. If i was on active duty posted somewhere then would definitely get one.

This isn't a specific BMW bike tool. It is used for all vehicles when you look at t'internet.

I have no idea what uses it would have other than reading and re-setting fault codes etc. I doubt it will have the specific tests and  features of the GS-911 but it is difficult to tell from the ads. I can only find  reviews in German on the net.

Be interesting to see it in action.

Brian (who has both specific and generic tools for his car and they don't do anywhere near as much as the GS-911)

Looking at the new legislation in affect in the US of A of course: fm 2016 all cars and bikes are to be equipped with a wifi or a usb port that will relay all data to the owner exactly as it does to the dealer, nit , perfect, the stealers want be able to lie no more,  wait for this to come in Europe after 5 years or so.
No need for a diagnostics for the new bikes then, might start thinking to change the K after 6-7 years...... :o :o :o :o :o
