Hi folks. Recently acquired an 09 plate k1300r. Covered in carbon and titanium. Using it for general running around and touring in Europe. Also got (very) old British bikes and a multistrada. Expect I will be getting the same issues as everyone else on here, like to do as much maintenance as possible myself.

Don't bank on getting the problems, not everyone is fortunate to be selected as a 'special case'. Either way, the extended warranty will keep you safe'ish but if you are doing your ownthing then perhaps not...
