I can understand that feeling.
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Show you know what you're doing and use your rear brake!

Plaster it with MSport badges or just the M badges, nothing winds up us BMW drivers more.. I often see a 520d with flared arches etc.. Unfortunately the oval exhaust and sound of a rattly 4 pot gives it away

You see the stripey m colours on the grill that's doing the rounds again? I think it's code for their parents have a lot of regrets and are now pro choice.

My X3 3.0SD is an MSport so it's allowed to wear its badges I guess …. can't see the point if it's not got the special bits :D

Nothing wrong with that, I have a 535d MSport, the only badges are on the wheels and interior though. Oh and hard 'knock your fillings out' ride

I'm doing my best to de-bling my Audi S3. Got shot of the silver mirror caps for some suble carbon ones (cheaper than the A3 ones from Audi) to match the understated boring grey of the car. The fewer folk who know what it is the better I like it; my days of attracting attention to myself on the road have long gone  ::)

My E46 is usefully just before they changed from Sport to M Sport. So I get to be glib about getting in before the marketing exercise :p.
