Hello fjtwelve, I’m able to come down today or any day this week as I’m now off for two weeks. I’m heading over to Normandy for the D-Day anniversary though

They’ll do just fine. When are you back in Cornwall?

I'll check in the morning and post a picture to make sure it's what you're after

It's a forum thing 8)

That would be fantastic. I’ve done the same with some van windows I no longer need. I’d rather someone use them than either throwing them out or storing them.

What I will do is make a donation the the local air ambulances, Devon and Cornwall

That would be good, and I’m overdue a Cornwall run. Have you got 2 short and 2 medium? Also, how much do you want for them?

Hello everyone, just a quick question...

Does anyone know if the retaining straps are still available to buy? I need to replace a couple.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section

Many thanks

I bought these Helibar risers for my bike but never fitted them. Brand new condition and still in the original packaging. Never been used.

Now sold

Quick question I’m asking this on behalf of someone else...

Are the bars (as in the top yoke? )on the k1300s and the k1200s, interchangeable?

Cheers in advance

For saltboxer, and anyone else who suffers lower back pain...

I’ve found what works for some, doesn’t work for others. My pain originated in the flute muscles. I’d visited countless Ostiopath’s and chiropractors over the years. It was by a chance conversion that made me visit a sports therapist. I’ve been pain free for about three years. BUT, I do stretch daily and exercise (lift weights) three to four times a week as a maintenance program.

As someone else said, find someone with a bar conversion and have a go. Those few moments leaning back with your fingertips on the bars may be ok, but how will you be in an hour or so... ??

Are you stil looking for some helibars, saltboxer?

I do have a set of helibars, but for a k1200s. I bought them but didn’t get around to fitting them as I couldn’t mount my satnav mount on them.
However, blagged a go on a k12s with them fitted. Long story short, I hated it. Being a little more upright caused lower back pain. Not as much as I had on my GS, but annoying.

I just need to did them out. I’ll message you when I find them, if you’re still looking for some.

For Sale / Wanted / Re: K1300s K1200s Pannier Rack wanted

If you’ve not already done so, it’s worth trawling back through the for sale section, looking for what you need, and messaging the seller if the thread isn’t marked sold. That’s how I managed to get my panniers and rear rack.

If that doesn’t work, try your local motorrad store. I can’t remember the cost, but I managed to get a bit of discount and the price wasn’t too bad.
