Looking for £60,  can post have not costed yet, but let’s say £10.  I also
Travel in southern England for work so could possibly deliver / meet somewhere depending where you are.

I also have some inner Pannier bags BMW Part No. 7 692 131. They are in excellent condition.
£30 the pair £5 postage.

Thanks Steve

Hi All, just giving an update on the recent Clutch replacement I carried out having had the clutch basket modification by clutch guru John Sykes.

For various reasons, since fitting I have only done around 100 miles (and this year!!)   I am so impressed with the operation, I thought what better way to give it a proper test than a bit of drag racing.

8 runs done,  Best run 11.17 @ 126mph.  Worst 11.97 @ 123mph.  Now I could have got serious, dropped tyre pressures, burn out before run etc.   But I was just happy to master the wheel spin and enjoy.  Clutch action is fantastic.    So, I believe the Tri-colour Blue, Black, Silver bikes are the fastest.

How To - Tech & Forum support / Clutch Tools
« on: December 29, 2015, 12:59:40 pm »
Hi all,  have just started to strip the clutch apart on my 07 K1200 S.  Need to cure the annoying rattle from the basket plus the screeching, grabbing etc. problems of which have all been documented on this site.

Question is; does anyone have the clutch holding tool that they will hire/loan.
I really don't want to buy one for what is going to be one use.

Please let me know if you are able to help.

Steve

Hi all,

Just giving the bike a once over and the front pads are getting low.

Anyone got any recommendations on what pads to go for. e.g. Plain, sintered etc.

I am running std. discs which are in A1 condition.

Thanks
