Cotswold Motorrad are taking service bookings now, with time slots for distancing. Worth checking for updates from your local places.

Nice introduction. My first K1300S was also orange. I worked in Romania for a few weeks in Cluj in the 70s. A bit scary then. We did a trip up to the plateau past a big dam. Lovely people there.

It's a bit long winded but clearly shows BBC editing Trump to make him look worse than he perhaps is. I didn't realise the BBC were quite as bad as this!
Unless this youtube is itself modified for reverse effect.

Frederick, lovely choice of road bike. One thing to always remember with the K, they seem to take twice as long to brake from speed than it took to accelerate there.

The insurance companies all seem to be playing the game of high renewals now. Even LV, who up until this year seemed to be reasonable to renew with, increased this year by a large percentage. I went with RAC this time, saved plenty. I didn't get much reduction from LV after haggling.
Strange, as LV also insure my group 50 car for under £400.

I had my car treated with film over a lot of the vulnerable areas and ceramic on the rest. The detailer told me there was a difference between the ceramic the public can buy, and that the professionals use which was far superior, harder and longer lasting.
The film has been great, no stone chips whatsoever. The ceramic is perhaps good to reduce swirls when washed, but you still have to wash the paint whether ceramic coated or not. Not sure I'd bother with ceramic again.
I hate cleaning the bike, but when I do I sometimes just use a good wax such as Bilt Hamber. I've got some stone chips now.

I've mentioned before that I occasionally use a Givi top box, and do notice a very slight additional movement at speed. Hardly noticeable slight shimmy. Was identical, same box, on my previous K1300S.

Living out in the sticks, we often walk around the paths and fields nearby. Just lately there's been loads more people there, I wonder where they go normally. Or perhaps the recommendation to exercise daily has taken some good effect.

Helibars themselves state theirs are the max lift without extending pipes and cables. Whether that's true I don't know but worth considering if going higher.

If Easy jet is anything to go by, I've not had my refund for cancelled flights for over a week now. Still got my fingers crossed it will turn up. P&O cruise similar, not responding well.

Ah sorry, I misled you. The nav cannot be set while moving even with a passenger in their seat. I think Vauxhall should have allowed set on the move by the passenger.

Contrary to this, the missus' Astra GTC sat nav can't have destination set while moving. This seems fair enough, but when the passenger can't set it until stopped, they have missed a trick with the passenger seat sensor.

I found this after removing some panels on the bike
It's about the same size as a 10p, soft rubber.
Does anyone know what it is or where it goes? Is it off the bike?

I've not noticed the hook and loop type before. Does anyone know if one would fit with grip puppies?

I've been with LV for car, bike, travel and house for years, but just lately they haven't been as competitive so the bike and house have gone to other insurers. Good to deal with though.
Still. under £400 for a group 50 car can't be bad.
