World's Largest Female Biker Meet - Triumph Hinckley
« on: July 24, 2022, 06:05:59 pm »
To be honest, I was larger than all of them, so I'm not sure they named the event correctly, but then again, I'm not female.
There were a lot of them - a world record number in fact. Here's what 1,549 female biker steeds look like - quite impressive:

I was manning an IAM stand, and there was a fair bit of interest, which was good.

And just for fun a Police Livewire, as ridden by a female cop:

Note the siren mounted below the motor (by the footpeg).
Only one disadvantage - they have to catch you within 90 miles, or you're off the hook...  ::)

Is that 90 miles at K speed?

A good point. K speed, or K group ride speed?  ;D

I know that a Ribelle RS manages 130-140 miles at IAM group speed because one accompanied us last Sunday.
Therefore, it would probably give 90 miles at K group speed. I don't think it would manage 90 miles at warp K speed.

However, they are getting there. As with everything, the early adopters (i.e. rich/foolish) are paving the way.

If you look back at the history of the performance development of the i.c.e. the second electric r/evolution is doing OK so far.
