Great vid.
confirms that I'm right to have plugging string (or bacon strips as her refers to them), under the saddle, together with a few canisters of CO2 and a Lidl bicycle CO2 applicator.

Odd test, pushing the plugs back in. Not realistic? I've got, luckily not needed yet, a mushroom kit. To me its design is less likely to be spat out?

The mushroom kit is what you get at any tyre outlet, where they need to take the tyre off, the other 3 are for fixing on the side of the road...so I fail to see the connection, probably has more to do with what he smoking or swallowing before they started filming.

Ryan from F9 goes into detail.

Hah! The amount of effort they put into production of his videos are great. I enjoy his mocking of the YouTube influencer fools in this one, and the various fun references :). Oh yeah and the puncture stuff :p.
The H2 SX video is quite good too, for the acting side of things!

So far, the brass-tipped things failed to go into a car tyre properly and the local garage had to go mining to get it out so they could vulcanise the tyre properly.

My sticky string thing that Richard and Matt stuffed into my rear bike tyre in 2018 on the way to Cleethorpes is still in there along with the air. For me, they are the best ones I have come across.

Everything you need in a handy pouch (that fits under seat of a K1200GT)

You will also need a compressor or you will need about 10 of those CO2 cannisters to get close to a running pressure.

How many would you need to limp to the nearest garage (genuine question)?

Also, if you have a TPM, you might have a residual amount of air in the tyre, when you are alerted, therefore you are not pumping up from nothing.

I do agree, a comressor would be handy as well though. Belt and braces and all that.

Haha ah memories, of wobbling to the air station, and then having to get you lot to search your wallets for 20p coins!

I really should have a compressor now I have such a suitable bike. I shall forum-search and then come back and ask which one everyone has.

Take a look at this Matt, it's the one I have.
I used to have the Airman but this one is cheaper and smaller.
I put the Airman in Melanies car, just in case  ;D

I cut off the cigarette lighter plug and replaced it with an SAE so I can plug it into my battery pigtail.

Thanks Rae. I have a Ring made one in the garage but it used to exceed the amps the K would allow through the port. I suppose the cheapest solution would be to wire a tail to the battery!

Brian was it you with the battery powered compressor or was that a dream?
