I have read on FB that the oil level can be checked via the on board computer.
Is this correct and if how is it done?
Thanks

Ooo, you naughty boy, you've not read the manual - page 28.
If you haven't got a manual, there are PDF copies on the web.

Its under the bike seat in the garage.
I'll go and have a look tomorrow.
Thanks for the page number Rich.

No problem. Take your kit with you - you'll need to take the bike for a run to warm it up.
But that's no bad thing, eh

Yup, that's the eyesight way. Drumwrecker was after the 'puter way.
A second look says its page 52 in the old manual (2010), and p28 in the newer one.

All the computer tells you is the oil level is OK not what the level is.
From the way this bloke was talking he made it sound like a level reader.
If this bloke's bike is using a bit of oil and he is relying on the computer it could be telling him its OK but in fact at the lower level of OK and if he's on a long hard ride he could possibly get the oil warning and end up spoiling his ride.
I would rather rely on the level in the sight tube as did most of the others.
Thanks for the input
