WANTED
« on: February 15, 2020, 10:27:30 am »
Does any one have a K12/1300s battery cover lying about without the holes for the sat nav mount?
I'm putting a ram mount on the top yoke and dont want to use the Nav 5 bracket.

Thanks.

Ian

Multi-storey car park is your best bet. A quick swap and no one will ever notice  ;)

Brian (who put security screws on his for that very reason...)

I've been looking for it all weekend 😈

No joy on ebay at the moment, I've been looking for k12' sbeing broken but no joy on that front either.

I may be forced into going carbon!

Save weight while I'm at it!

David. What is it about security screws and rabid dogs that you don't understand...

Ian. Have you tried James Sherlock and Mororworks?

Yep, both no joy, I'm away in a couple of weeks so I think that I'll have a look when I get back.

Thanks

Ian

But it's a long way from Leigh to Birmingham Matt. And I didn't realise that there was a BMW dealer in Shirley... 8)

Sherlock's are excellent (as are Motorworks).

They part stripped an engine (which they wanted to sell whole) to ship to Costas in Athens. Very cheap, very efficient and very quick!

Not worth their while to produce paperwork for a simple job like yours.

Excellent eesult.

Best to do it by post,I actually went in person end of last year stocking up on X/R parts for years to come what a miserable bunch....although in fairness to them in a warehouse with zero heating it was warmer outside and I've posted on here since they had a really tidy K1300 that looked too good to break so no doubt it has come off that.
