Panic buyers have cleared the shelves of hummus and guacamole.

The stock pile took a while...  ::)

Overheard in Tesco Ledbury at 07:02 this morning whilst searching for a Leek (none available and Leek and Potato soup isn't the same with celery [plenty of that] instead of leeks)...

'Get a couple of packets of that...'
'What is it?...'
'It doesn't matter, just get it...'
'What do you do with it?...'
'Just get it!'

For those who care about such things, it was Pak Choi...

Was in the local supermarket this morning behind a guy at the fish counter.

He bought all the crabs, lobsters & mussels then trotted off with his full trolley.

I thought, you shellfish ba$tard.
