Hi all,

My K1300R Dynamic is going next week, so have some bits for sale.

LSL bars, top yoke, risers and bar ends - I have sent a message to someone on here as he is looking for this kit, he will get first refusal.

Remus titanium hexacone slip on exhaust.

R&G fork sliders.

Price wise, no idea what to ask, make me an offer. Pics on request, don't know how to add pics here.

Hi all,

I'm looking at swapping my bike, I don't keep bikes for too long and I fancy an adventure type bike.

So my question is - how much should I get for my K1300R Dynamic in part exchange.

It is a 65 plate, colour - black, new Pirelli Angel GT II tyres, and has covered less than 3200 miles.

Thanks for looking and any advice offered.

Tyres / New Tyres For K1300R Dynamic.
« on: May 25, 2019, 01:54:44 pm »
Hi all,

Got to work on Thursday morning this week and noticed I had a new addition to the bike, something shiney sticking out of the rear tyre. As the tyre appeared to be holding pressure, I left well alone.

The ride home was a slow careful affair, so much so I thought the police driving in front of me were going to pull me as I was riding so slow, which did look suspicious.

Any way, got home and armed with long nose pliers pulled out of the rear tyre a 3 inch long, 6mm diameter drill shank.

My question now is what tyres do I go for, the more research I do, the more confusing the situation gets.

My bike is a 65 plate K1300R on 2700 miles, I do not travel any great distances and I'm on the heavy side, lets just say I always ride 2 up.

I have read how much people like the Pirelli Angel GT (II) on their S models, do I need "A" spec for an R?

I did call a local tyre place Thursday evening and they recommended Metzeler Sportec M7 RR tyres.

Many thanks for any input,

Gramps.

K1200 / K1300 Forum / K1300R Clutch Judder.
« on: March 15, 2018, 02:14:32 pm »
Hi all,

I bought my 65 plate K1300R Dynamic last November, due to rubbish weather I have not had proper opportunity to ride my new bike.

I have now had chance to ride about 50 miles, I noticed the clutch was fine when the bike was cold, as soon as the bike gets up up temperature there is a shocking amount of clutch judder.

I know the clutch judder on these bikes is well documented, but what is acceptable?

Fortunately I got my bike from a BMW dealer so have 2 years warranty, bike was serviced prior to picking up and has covered 2300 miles total.

Regards, Gramps.

Who's Who? / New K1300R owner.

Hi all,

I have now owned a black K1300R Dynamic (65 plate) for 3 weeks, not ridden it yet, I'm waiting for sunny weather, so really do not know a great deal about this bike.

I had a BMW R1200R Sport with all options (except keyless and alarm) which I chopped in against the K.

The previous owner of the K1300R made some really nice mods and left them on the bike as follows,

LSL bar conversion.
Remus exhaust.
Paint protection film on tank.
R&G crash bungs.
Front brake caliper protectors.

I think my first mod will be with the heavy clutch, will be contacting Oberon soon.

So, big hello to you all, I'm looking forward to conversing and interacting.

Gramps.
