Buying a cask
« on: January 21, 2022, 09:16:12 pm »
A group of 12 of (ex) work colleagues including myself are planning to club together to buy a cask of whisky as an investment/excuse to meet up and drink whisky. Anyone done this before? Any do's and don'ts?

‘If it is a financial investment, be very aware that whisky values can go down as well as up.'

They forgot to add the rider '...especially if you drink it'.

(The article is 2.5 years old, so you can compere the prices with 2022.)

One of the construction managers I worked with was called Kinnaird. She was (still is) quite forthright about telling people what they needed to do, so fairly quickly acquired the nickname Kinell...
