I need a longer bar.

...or a Torque multiplier. Assuming you could find something to put the arm against.

500 miles yesterday, 400 dry. Stuttering like hell below 4k, so just ride at speeds over 4k natch, tyres lunched. On the upside the double USB socket I replaced the din socket with (that the plug in double USB socket kept falling out of) kept the phone sat nav fully charged all day. The last 100 wet mile showed the Enduroguard jacket is not waterproof. If anyone knows the correct waterproofing to use please tell, as Techwash ain't it. And the enduroguard glove felt wetted out but my hands were dry, but I think I'm going to get some new gloves. Why else would I go back to work?

I was suprised that KTM let them do the bit about how trick the bike is,the carbon swing arm is one thing but a top and bottom yoke in carbon 😳😳 so heaven knows the the th8ngs that didn’t get mentioned.

Neat little device  :thumbsupgood:

The distributor is just down the road from me in Southend. I actually went there to buy a Lithium battery for my KTM a while ago and he got one out to show me. It was so light I thought it was just a case  :)  Then he tested it at 410 amps in front of me  :o

It has another Antigravity gimmick on it - a built in Jump Starter. It's not really, but what it does is continuously monitor its own voltage and before it looks like it is going t go flat it turns itself "off". You then need to lift the seat a push a button to re-activate it and it has enough power for one or two start ups.

I thought the Sprint race was good (bizarre?) but the main race was fantastic. Just when I was starting to loose interest in MotoGP - I hope there are more like that  :thumbsupgood:

Well, when I got new tyres the guy at the front desk knew the rear wheel went on with a 260Nm torque but apparently the actual fitters didn't.

I need a longer bar.

Edit: I found a longer bar.

The black FJR was running really well with 70,000 miles on her and would have gone on for another 150.000 but hey ho if the dealer still has the bike it will be nice to have the rare red one again.

Glen couldn't apologise enough but I told him it's only metal and plastic as long as we are both OK and still mates all is well.

Oh for sure. My current choices above are from those readings of KTM forii. However I know you lot are all a friendly bunch (apart from Richard and his insistence on slaughtering a goat in front of a primary school every Tuesday) where I can ask silly questions :).

I've just given the bike a good clean and the chain is sticking in a few links so i'm going to buy the above stuff once I've read my workshop manual and assured myself I can manage this massive task! Oh, and I should check the chain guide things.

Before I put my rose tinted spectacles on I must remind myself my shaft peed oil on my rear tyre TWICE with my K, so... yes.

I'm also going to take the wheels off today and pick one of my fancy waxes/sealants/goat blood cocktails to try and keep them orange for longer.

Hey Zeus!

WTF is going on peeps? I know it is early in the season and we are all a little rusty (as last week in Wales showed only too well  ::) ) but two in one week...

Really glad you are all OK and I am sure you were ready for a new bike anyway Rae but I imagine Glen is feeling as bad as it gets.
