As I said, it is straightforward but fiddly. If you can use a screwdriver without buggering up the screwhead you have all the skills needed to do this.

The next time you do it it will only take half the time. With my sticking throttle bodies problem I could get them off from scratch in less than 20 minutes but I had done it at least twenty times... :D

And yes, ignition on, ENGINE OFF, and slowly open twistgrip fully and slowly close fully. Repeat three times and then ignition off. This tells the ECU where the end points of the throttle plate travel actually are.

Getting access behind the throttle body is fiddly.  I can see the connectors now.  Light at the tunnel end finally.  Lol

When I fitted my Power Commander I'm sure I released the throttle bodies and eased them forward. Maybe it was the fuel rail I eased loose.

Anyway, you are nearly there  ;D

All done and tested.  All working perfect.  Just in time for dinner lol.   The connectors are behind the throttle bodies and had to take off the pipes, unclip etc.  Finally got to them.  Fiddly little blighters.

All cleaned and back to looking a bike again 😀. I will give it a good test tomorrow night if the weather holds off.

Thanks to you all for your help.  Really appreciated it.

Small issue after road test.  I cannot get the sensor on the quickshifter to work. Needs to be reading at least 45 on the upshift but can only get 7.   Tried moving the sensor at both ends of the shift rod.  Pictures attached to explain.

Any suggestions?

Er, 7 and 45 what?

Is this kit designed for the K12? The K13 has a different 'reversed' shift lever design.

I think the first port of call is the manufacturer.

Ghost from the past here. Dave RTFM, the sensor needs to go under the bolt on the shift arm, where no 10 is on your diagram.  If your sensor readings are still a bit low, just give the bolt another 1/4 turn.  I fitted one of these to my Tiger Sport, its brill

Cheers. Will put it on the shift arm. Should start to read better then.  Just not enough on the shift rod.
