As I said, it is straightforward but fiddly. If you can use a screwdriver without buggering up the screwhead you have all the skills needed to do this.
The next time you do it it will only take half the time. With my sticking throttle bodies problem I could get them off from scratch in less than 20 minutes but I had done it at least twenty times...
And yes, ignition on, ENGINE OFF, and slowly open twistgrip fully and slowly close fully. Repeat three times and then ignition off. This tells the ECU where the end points of the throttle plate travel actually are.
