And if he hasn't been banned recently, Costas will be along shortly to tell us how hot and sunny it is in his olive groves  >:(

I'm with Gibbo; some cracking winter days for riding. However, today was not one of them. -3C at 07:30 this morning, minor roads slippery. Heated grips are a wonderful luxury.

Driving around the damp roads of Sussex in my van, puts me off getting the bike out.. The number of times I had to use the windscreen washers to clear the grime off makes me think of the amount of hassle trying to keep my visor clear without scratching it

I'll be using mine to get to work some days (when not cycling) - even though she gets covered in crap of one sort or another is worth it to avoid the torture of driving into Yeovil (which is going to get worse)

Could be worse, you could rely on Southern rail to get to work, even when they're not on strike the service is excrement at best.
Few months ago it took me 4 hours to get to Grays, Essex from Uckfield, East Sussex. Over 3 hours was to get to London (Southern), the last bit (The tube and C2C) were fine.
I went there to buy a car for my daughter from a friend. It took me 1 hour 25 mins to drive home, which is still quicker then the train gets to London when running on time..

It's currently 10 degrees outside Phmode Towers at 10 at night and the weather forecast has just shown huge snowfalls in Greece and Turkey and not just in the mountaims  :o

One hopes Costas isn't shivering in the olive groves  8)
