After market brake/clutch levers
« on: August 27, 2016, 09:13:26 pm »
Does anyone have advice on after market levers. I know they range from cheap Chinese ones which I used on my zzr with no problems to AC Schnitzer kin expensive. I have standard levers and the adjustment is a fraction out for my stubby sausage fingers. :-[

Search for a thread entitled "Who uses what" . Sorry; I couldn't see how to paste the link.No doubt someone will point me to the appropriate "how to" in due course!

I have some that I think were pazzos but I didn't like them at all, got stock levers on now. The aftermarket short poncy ones didn't even trigger the let-you-start-in-gear button.

My vote is for the originals.  :)

I agree with you entirely. I thought that I was the only one that suffered the let-you-start-in-gear-problem with pazzo levers.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

What is this problem
I have standard length levers and have never had a problem with starting in or out of gear.

I think you'll find the problem is with some short ones, not the standard ones!

To add in my previus post never used the oem ones as the wunderlich levers were installed directly by the dealer, never had an issue with them since 2009.
