Anyone got a Sena 20s they're thinking is gathering dust?
Alistair
-
In a word, no but they come thoroughly recommended by me, and possibly Brian.
-
And me, a great piece of kit 8) ;D ;D
-
Recommended yes! But...
Far too many functions for me and 90% of other riders...
Controls way too confusing for those who don't use it every day...
Controls very fiddly to use in winter gloves, even in summer gloves it is a struggle...
Good range...better than Autocom
Wire free, which saves ripping your head off every time you walk away from the bike...
Excellent clarity...almost tell which flavour crisps Rae is chewing on... :)
Autocom was MUCH easier to use...speak and be heard. Simples!

Brian you need one of these, Sena Rc4 Motorcycle Handlebar 4 Button Bluetooth Remote Control. Simples ::) ;D ;D ;D

Alistair, what made you choose the Sena 20S, what is your intended use, group riding? Solo riding? Rider and pillion?
If you only want it for single use there may be better (cheaper) options.
If you have your heart set on the Sena 20S Evo then sportsbikeshop are about the cheapest at the moment.

Hmmm? Gets over the fiddly bit, doesn't address the '247 functions with 4 easy-to-reach buttons' bit.

Thanks for the replies
I'm looking at the sena as most of people I ride with use them so it's all about ease of connecting

OK yes that's a good reason, get yourself onto Sportsbikeshop website and get it bought. You are unlikely to find one second hand. There are none on Ebay, there is a guy on Gumtree with a deal to be had possibly.

If you're thinking of getting a new helmet anyway then you don't have to pay VAT on the Sena kit if it's fitted, and hence part of, the new Helmet.
