I just ran through a couple of functions last night. I paid for the "professional" level, which is €31. The next, or top, level is the "ultimate" which was €50 to buy initially, but now is €31 to upgrade to (so €62 in total rather than €50 if purchased first day).
The one issue I had when purchasing was that it was impossible to find the differences between the professional and ultimate, other than a pretty vague "service functions". These were not explained as they may differ between bikes.
Anyway, the professional edition allows you to do service resets, and clear error codes and view live data. It doesn't allow you do to any coding, or change settings like bar to psi. It displays them to you, but when you try to change them it tells you that you need the ultimate to do this. The Ultimate unlocks all functionality.
The ultimate allows you to cycle the ABS, and some other functionality like adjust throttle synchronisation. There I'm getting into territory that allows me to break things, so I'm staying well away unless its already broken.
It does have the option to re calibrate the ESA, but again, ultimate edition. I must put another question up to see how necessary this is.
I don't know if I want to spend another €31 right now, just to do the extra functions, at least I can do so in the future.
