I'd be interested.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

OK. I gave up way back when! The guy stopped responding.

However, I have another small, independent carbon outfit I am using for some small-run posh bits for another bike.

I want to open a conversation with the chappie about whether he a) can and b) will attempt to make what we all want; or at least wanted way back when this thread was started.

Since then, some members have left, some have given up on the K, but others have joined and the number of K's on the road is still about the same and with increasing age comes the almost inevitability of the dreaded radiator crap-up!

So, before I call and make an arse of myself, again, hands up for those who would be interested...

Numbers affect development costs and purchase price so this is a finger in the air job to see if it is just me or me and Matt or me and Matt and...you get the idea.

But don't go getting your hopes up  8)

Having just spent a couple of days de-crudding my radiator (not as bad as I feared) I would be interested in a mass purchase, pending design and costs etc.

Interested, but for a "R". Does that count? Are we just talking about "S" still?

The front mudguard is the same for the S and R as far as I know (someone will correct me  ::) ) GT is out.

But we are talking S 'design' here. Now then, whether we are talking 'stock' S style or some other, easier to fabricate style is up for grabs.

Yeah Rae, we had that last time...from the potential buyers. It was the potential sellers who were the problem. Still, the carbon bling fitted my wee Honda so that bodes well  8)

Is the GT that different? Given you're looking at the possibility of a change of shape/design for the S version would that not fit on the GT? It won't look the same as the original GT version but, if it'll fit, it'll fit!
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

It's a valid point and I'm sure someone will tell us if the mounting points in the forks are the same. I could go and look up the part numbers of course... ::)

From looking at some Ebay photos of the K1300S the fixing points look the same, but a physical comparison would be advisable  ;)

I don't like the look of the GT mudguard.
