It looks a lot of bike for the money

My previous K cost a lot more than that with out all the bells and whistles of shift assist and esa etc.

No i didn't own that bike
Just a comment on the bike i have the same model, colour, 13 plate with all the trickery and i cannot fault it
If there is nothing untoward with the bike it is a dam good buy

Hmm! Most dealers know exactly what goes wrong with K bikes and most won't touch them with a barge pole, even main dealers are reluctant to take a trade-in these days.

I would want a solid BMW service history and a thorough test ride and inspection before I took the risk.

Claims 'FSH' but doesn't state BMW or other.
However, with the numberplate in full view it's probably not too hard to ring BMW and check.

Well it failed its MOT this year due to "headlamp aim too high". And then they did it again and passed it. I guess they found the adjustment knob and thought "nooooope!" and left it to the owner!

But their use of caps lock everywhere because apparently paragraphs are a secret divulged to a select few... they can sod off.

Interesting e-bay item, but for another £500-1000 or so I saw a couple 30th Anniversary edition bikes, these have all the toys as standard and the late limited edition bikes are the most likely to hold their price...  He said hopefully:-) Peter

The trouble is Peter, bikers always want to save every single penny when they buy. How many guys in here have bought a bike without the toys cos it was cheaper and then want to add the toys? It's the same argument as buying a K12 today when K13’s are virtually the same price, give or take a rouble or six!

Limited Edition usually translates to:
- we're finishing production and need to shift these units

I don't think their price will be much different to a std one in say 10 years time - certainly not £500-1000, but they'll probably be easier to sell (as your temptation shows!).

There's something to be said for less toys = less to go wrong. But that's not the way bike design is going, really.
