Black-k1 can't you throw the 1250 Multi-strada into the test ride mix? As it's supposed to be a bike for all occasions and also on my list of potential next bikes....

I love intimate detail of how a TFT works. Except the one bit they forgot to label is the liquid crystal! Good old MCN.

Oh, and back to bikes - that exhaust is plug ugly. You'll have to get the Akra version, Perbunan.

I always like to tinker anyway and swop out indicators, pipes etc and favour Akro stubbies at the moment

I think in 3-4 yrs time they will be considerably less than Â£17k....I hopes...

That's why after a couple of years and 3 bikes I've come back to a K.
I could possibly see myself on a Multistrada at some point but I'm not ready for a sit up bike yet...

Are they also known as 921 capless? as the ones I ordered are T20 and a little on the big size in that they don't fit inside the lens $:-\$

Since my initial post I fitted Lucas TRW pads and have fitted them to several bikes since and find them exceptional, both price wise and performance wise, I like em so much I don't even bother looking at other brands now it's just a case of looking around for the best deal

Cheers, that's the only logical explanation but wanted to double check as I've never heard of locking wheel nuts for bikes.

So I admit I haven't poured through the pages of the handbook but it seems to be the same as the last one I had, so in amongst my new booklet of paperwork I've found what looks like a minuture wheel nut locking key and a torx key. So I've had a look at the rear wheel and there's no locking nut on there

so what's this key for?

Hi all, first the good news " I'm back on a K ! " LOL.

So I've resurrected this thread to see if there has been any advances in front LED indicator bulbs, I've ordered my smoked lenses as before and am hoping somebody can recommend a canbus friendly orange LED bulb?

Personally I like it . Just watched vid which states zzr1400 and gtr to be dropped next year, this maybe the bike BMW should have made before dropping the K. Will wait and see where they pitch it price wise and may have to wait a few years to pick up a decent second hand model.
