I've got a pair.
Just bought at different times.

Gotta be worth a try! Give 'em a call!

I understood the GT had stiffer walls.
When the front was changed to GT it certainly felt stiffer but then was a new tyre.

Confirmed the GT has stiffer side walls for heavier loads on bikes like the K1600xx and R1200RT (I guess fully loaded) not sure of the difference of the rubber compounds though - think this is shown on the Michelin web pages.  Peter

That was exactly what I was expecting the tyre tech to say, but he said the opposite.

Having lost 2.5 stone (OK, 3 stone but I put on a little in the summer) since I first tried PR3's, I reckon I can make do with the standard ones and leave the GT's to self-described heavyweights like David [black-k1] although he looks remarkably 'normal' to me  ;D )

PS Maybe it is just the leathers  8)
