Garage reorganisation
« on: March 06, 2023, 02:03:09 pm »
In a further attempt to confuse Richard, should I see him out and about locally, I've ordered a K1600GT. I'm keeping the K13S as well so I'll post a family photo when it arrives.

Oh blimey.  :P
Mind you, there don't seem to be many around these parts. I see more K1300S' - saw a red & white one near Kineton on Friday, for example.
There is a nice blue 1600GT in Coventry & Warks IAM, and he rides it well, and with spirit where possible.
If they did a slightly forward leaning version with a smaller barn door I'd probably be seriously tempted.

You going for new, or previously thrashed loved?

It's new. Motorsport colours with lots of toys. Delivery 'within two weeks', so hopefully the snow will have been and gone by then. I was going to get a black one, but they had a real MS one in the shop and it somehow looks smaller and better in real life than photos.

Sounds good Andy, let me know if you’re up for company on the ride, maybe an inaugural run to British Camp for the coffee I owe you!

I'd be up for that. Don't have a delivery date for it yet and hopefully it will be a little warmer by the time it arrives.

If you are heading to British Camp give me a shout, it's my local cafe. I might turn up in the car or on the bus as it takes longer to get togged up than it does to get there  :)

 :winkthumbs: Nice bike Mr.

That looks pretty smart. I'm not a K1600 fan but I could happily have that in the garage! :D

Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Oof yep that does look great! They seem to have gotten a better eye for the design and colour scheme as time has gone by. Lionel.

Now we await the promised family photo!

Now we await the promised family photo!

It was getting a bit windy and looked like it might start raining, so I was a focused on finding out if the space I'd made in the garage was actually big enough. It is, with the panniers removed. Reverse makes getting in and out of the garage a lot easier!
