Hi, newbie from Northampton here
« on: March 14, 2015, 11:17:33 am »
Hello everyone. Only just discovered this forum.

I have had my K1200LT since September and it's an '04 facelift model with only one previous owner with some 30k on the clock. I love it. I already have an 1150 GSA which I've had for twelve years plus an 1150 RT and a Honda VFR 800.

I am looking forward to doing as much goring on the LT as possible this year and maybe even meeting up with some of you guys on here.

I am based near Silverstone. Anyone else local?

Cheers,

Phil

Hi Phil welcome to the forum.

Probably finger trouble but not sure what you could have meant by goring. Touring??

You can check out where the nearest members are on the Members Map here https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=zEIMKZRvRBnc.k7Rxu_Srfo3s  You will appear on the map when Rae does his thing.

...and when Phil puts his location on his profile!

In the meantime welcome to the madhouse that is the new shiny EuroKClub, Phil.

There is a whole pile of stuff in the Welcome section about the recent history of this site and its predecessor EuroKClub.com to which a large number of the members used to belong.

Hello Phil welcome to the forum I'm Rae and as Tom put it I have done my thing for you.
I'm not sure how the members Map became "My Thing" but it has and you are now on there in all your glory. Let me know if you want the pin moving at all.  ;D ;D

About 20 miles west by bicycle. I cycle to Silverstone MotoGP - easy to get around the circuit & easier to get away  ;D

Brackley has rather a good bike festival - not yet been to it. Any good?

Hi Richtea. Yes the Brackley bike festival is really good. It gets bigger year on year. You should give it a try this year.
