Paul, how did you connect to the brake lights, I have thought about doing this myself. I have also thought about buying a mini mill, making fabrication easy.

Kit Reviews / Becka Coolwear
« on: February 14, 2015, 02:53:37 pm »
I bought one of these one piece base layer suits a couple of weeks ago. I saw these mentioned on another forum and took a look at the reviews and thought I would get one and for the price they are an absolute bargain.
It is very well made and has the feel of quality about it. The fit is generous, the size guide was accurate.
I have taken the suit to be altered (I have little legs) and also have the collar altered, I wasn't keen on the wrap around collar with Velcro. I am having the Velcro removed and the collar turned into a mandarin type collar. Even with the price of the alterations it's still a massive bargain at £25 delivered.
Not just for the summer, it's good in winter too.
Oh that's not me in the picture by the way

K1200 / K1300 Forum / Rae,s K1200GT Seat
« on: February 14, 2015, 02:30:27 pm »
I had my seat re-worked a few months ago. Had it re-shaped and Gel inserts put in.
I had this done by Marty Walker at Smartrrrs
www.smartrrrs.biz
He makes the gel inserts onsite and can make them firmer or softer to meet your requirements.
After having the seat for a few months now I can say that it has made a huge difference not only to me but to Melanie my wife.
She can do two hours plus before we are looking for a stop.
Here are some pics

Yes I'm afraid it is Tim, being from the East End of London and now living in West Yorkshire I hear the same strange accent here.
We will lose our identity if not careful.

I did notice the location thing Brian, well done. All we have to do now is get people to fill it in.
However I still think the map is a good idea if it is possible. Another option might be to start a Google map and post the link.
I don't want to be a dog with a bone. It does help to have the members locations for rides, meetings, event planning, assistance and recommendations. If someone in Scotland asks for a recommendation for a dealer they wont get someone recommending a dealer in Kent.

Places to Eat / Sergio's Italian Chester
« on: February 14, 2015, 11:36:24 am »
What can I say, this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the UK. We go to Chester every year for Melanie's birthday and we always make a bee line for Sergio's and have never been disappointed. You will have to book if you want a table at weekends.

I have the BMW warranty and wouldn't run the bike without it. Over four years I am about £1100 up on the deal. This was a lot to do with the ABS pump I had replaced.

I think the map idea is a good one, we are struggling at the moment to get people to put the location in their profile. Ulysses Club has a location map, I'll ask admin how it's done.
