The mailing address is a house up in what can only be described as the most northerly point in Scotland. So does this person/company operate from their garden shed or spare room?
I think i would need some recommendations before using.

Watching an episode of Wheeler Dealers, there are independent companies that can diagnose and repair ABS units.

A man in his shed can easily repair these things in a couple of hours, that's provided the problem is the usual one that crops up 95% of the time (whereby the brushes are sticking).

What I'd really want to know, is how does he cure the problem? Does he simply open the motor up, spray some electrical contact cleaner over it, and put it all back together (in which case it'll work again for an undefined amount of time, but WILL fail in future), or does he do something to actually prevent a recurrence of the problem?

Funny thing is, if any of our members have this problem, and they're near me, I'll happily have a go at it for the price of a pint plus whatever spare parts are needed!

Totally agree Stevel, I've repaired many an item in my shed kitchen (don't tell the wife). I have fixed many a bad solder joint on circuit boards on my boiler and cars, poke and hope, if it worked after then that's a result.
I have cans of electrical cleaner and to be fair that can temporarily fixed the self levelling module on my car after it got a good soaking but it was only a temporary solution.

From watching the show you need the diagnostic kit to test each valve and pump motor for correct operation and feedback, for an accurate repair. After all it is the braking system we are talking about

The diagnostic tests on the GS-911 are good enough for me - shows the ABS pressures as it goes through it's tests.

The bike itself does a very quick diag test too - basically it stirs the motor and checks that the pressure goes up! That's usually the test that fails too, when the ABS motor brushes stick.

I've sent Leon a message asking for some details of his service, experience, work done, how long he has been in business etc.

I'll post something up if I get a suitable response  ;D

My i-Abs unit went last year on my 2006 k1200s.
After some research and searching I ended up using RH-Electronic in germany.
Cost me £700 but come with 2 years warranty and its still half price compare to Bmw.
I had the unit with 2 other companies in england and all said they cant do
