I tried but it looks like a half arsed steam punk effort. The panels up front look like I shaped them!

I will now waste the rest of my evening perusing that website though!

There is no doubting the skill and commitment of the builders but, for me, the K1600 platform is always going to be too long and too heavy to have any form of sporting pretentions. Building a café racer with it is, I’d suggest, an exercise in the totally pointless.
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Seeing as no cafe racer I have ever seen has ever 'raced' from one cafe to another other than along a dead straight A road, the sporting pretentious don't really come into it and it is rather a design exercise to fulfil someone's fantasy. As such it is probably a huge success  :)

As an alternative to a K13S it is a waste of a donor bike.
