And so to spectacles.

Pinlock isn't an option ;D, so I bought two anti-mist products - ones that had reasonable reviews on Amazon and that are delivered in a day. Lazy, moi?

Cressi Anti Fog -  £3.99 & 4 stars from a host of people
and
Muc-Off Anti-Fog Treatment - £8.20 & also 4 stars but from less people

The Cressi is half the price AND twice the liquid (60ml v 32ml). The Muc-Off is so glitzy & reflective that you can't read the instructions - had to go online. Hmm.

The Cressi you spray on, leave a few seconds, and then wash off the excess.
The Muc-Off you just rub off the excess. It smears. You have to wipe 99% off to get the specs back to being clear. I paid for that stuff I just virtually completely removed. Double hmmm.

And the results - scientifically done with a boiling kettle for about 3-4 seconds.


No anti-fog (the mist took over a minute to clear - so 4 seconds in the kettle steam was a bit long):




And 4 seconds with the Cressi on the left, Muc-Off on the right, just like the bottles. Who says I can't plan?




If I leave the glasses in the steam even longer the Muc-Off gets into a state where there's so much water it can't disappear, but it still barely mists up:




Impressive.

Hi All,
I eventually got around to buying a flip earlier this year and went for the ride recommended Lazer. Only thing is have been out on the K once since short spin lovely helmet light it came with a photocomic visor and a pin lock . The visor adjusted to light levels excellently from tint to clear saving having to wear shades pinlock no mist . Saying all that have not be out in cooler times.

So, with my vari-tint/sundym/whatevver spectacles inside my pinlocked Schuberth visor I am now considered legally blind... 8)

Does this mean I can get a disabled sticker to park nearer the pub door?

i invested in a new airoh 701st, eventually carbon fibre...dontca know...it came with my first ever pinlock. now i haven't got a lot of miles on it so far but i'm very impressed with what i've experienced so far.
before that i used original green fairy liquid , other brands and scents are available but they are not as good. wipe onto visor and just keep wiping until the visor is clear...inside only of course. it lasts for a couple of months between treatments. i would think it should work on glasses as well but someone else should be able to "clarify" that.

I can clarify, clarity is the problem, with detergent there is always a slight mist on your glasses, which used to drive me mad. As I said before I use Bob Heaths Anti Fog which of all the anti mist solutions I have tried is the best.
