Absolutely great to get out today for the first time in about 4 weeks. Hubby friend and your truly headed off in drist and mizzle on a miserable morning but the forecast came good and within an hour it had cleared,by lunchtime it had even dried up :o

Spanish Point on the Clare coast named after the Spanish Armada ships wrecked here in 1588. The lucky few survivors who made it ashore were murdered on the orders of the High Sherriff!

North Clare, a view over the Burren limestone karst pavement towards Galway Bay.

Hubby on his old mans Yamaha Tedium ;D

Coffee,chocolate and cake. Yum :)

Nice Pictures ;D

I have Cabin Fever here in Scotland as the last of the snow is just clearing.

Can't wait for a decent spell of dry weather and clearer roads to get out and about....

You will make up for it later, with all that stunning scenery on your doorstep.
I live in Lincolnshire which is famous for its flat fields and blandness.
Ride your bike until it hurts-and then-err ride it a bit more.

Nice piccies Kim (and I applaude you for taking the trouble) but that sky looks as leaden as the sea. About the only redeeming features are your bike and the chocolate stop. Rae, please take note...

First commute to work this morning as Temp hit the dizzy height of 4.5 degrees. Cut off is 4. Anyways headed into Aberdeen only for temp to dip to 2 degrees. Bloody freezing but night trip home was better. 6 degress, almost tropical. Rain tomorrow but above 6 degrees, so prepared to get wet. Saying that I did have a smile on my face and only took 50 mins compared to 75 with car. Amazing
