Ah nice one! I'll give that a go, as I felt at the second half of today the speakers were pressing on my earplugs somewhat uncomfortably. Although I did ride for... Maybe 6 hours today without getting helmet headache which is a relief.

I would like to find the velcro spacing pads in a half thickness. Anyone?

Cut the ones you have, very sharp blade and take care cutting them in half.

I thought about that, but do the cut surfaces still stick?

Here is an explanatory video Matt. Don't be alarmed by the opening credits, you don't have to cut your helmet in half  ::)

Here is another video about speaker placement, watch it right through, this bloke uses a Dremel to enlarge his speaker pockets.

It doesn't help if you don't have the Sena, but the supplied female pads (loops) are extremely thin.

I thought there was only one in the bag because it was so flat, but there were in fact two in there and I doubt you could shave them down.

I'm not using mine because the Shuberth has the velcro in there already so if you pm me your address I'll pop them in the post to you if they are of any use. Brian

Well, the Welsh Wramble is getting close and so the Sena has decided to die. Again!

I took the little Honda into the Big Black Smoke (Again!) a couple of weeks ago to get a seatectomy and was amazed that the Sena connected with my phone AND with the (almost never used but it was back in October last year) TomTom.

I set off, stopped, came home, changed from Winter to Summer gloves, jacket and undies and set off. Again!

This time the Sena refused to speak to me. Turned it back on. Hellooo. Again!

Two miles down the road all was peace and quiet. Again!

Turned it back on. Again!

Drove the rest of the way there and back in total silence.

So, here we are. Again!

It won't charge. Again! Except when it does. Again! And it works for about two minutes. Again! Then it dies. Again!

Guess I'll have to order a replacement battery. Again!  >:(

Me and two mates bought Sena 50S. Two of us had problems and had a long wait for warranty replacements which have been fine so far. The third one played up last month, only lasting an hour on mesh. Maybe the fact they're not waterproof affects them. Beware if replacing yours, but mesh is superb.
