It has a 2" display on the recordin unit but other than using it to ensure the camera is pointing in roughly the right direction, and to change the settings, I never look at it

Cool cool, makes sense ta :)

Ah yeah i'm trying to find it now. So, to check, that display is udderly useless and sits under the seat yeah? When I looked a while back there were some with displays and others - seemingly the same things/company - with no display. But then it's very hit and miss with those chinese ebay specials innit.

I can still see it in my purchsed items but perhaps other users can't.

Anyway, a screen shot of what I can see is

It adds GPS location and speed to the front view which has both advantages and disadvantages.

btw, Rybrook is now Sytner and they've finished the traffic lights so you don't need to go through the housing estate/building site to get to them.

Never noticed the rebrand but did notice the traffic lights working and access to the road was open the last time I went there.

If you are the sort who can get off the bike and hold it upright without it falling on you (like Richard, unlike me) then you can check it off the stand but it must be upright and not on the sidestand and the 30 second wait time is because it is a 'damp sump' (© Stormin Norman) setup so you have to wait for the oil to settle back in the oil tank and sump.

I can barely hold it upright sat in the saddle with one-and-a-half feet on the floor!  ???

It would have been longer than 30 seconds for me to get into the garage, grab a rag, go back outside, remove the seat and check the oil but I’m sure all was OK.

I put @250ml in this morning and got the check mark back on oil level instead of <!> and following the above method the oil level is now mid-way between Min & Max on the dipstick so all good and seems to prove Rich’s theory of 500ml between Min & Max so thanks for that.

Mine is a cheap Chinese eBay special. I've just fitted this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/386795795327 to my new bike.

If you look carefully you can just see the front cameras on both bikes, tucked under the "chins" on the off-side of the fairings.

You can see the rear camera on the old bike in this picture. It's mounted just above the rear light.

The main recorder unit lives under the seat (The H2 SXs have space under the seat - a concept alien to K1?00S owners!  ;D ) and is wired in to a switched circuit to activate. You can see the button for the save file option in this picture

It's the red one below the Scotoiler controls on the left bar.

David, your current set up is different from the one I saw, which afair was only front facing.

What is the one you are using now?

Having just installed a couple of Fit Cam X cams in the rear view mirror housing of the car and swimbo's car, my thoughts turned to the bike, especially after Rae's easy to deal with rear-ender which might have been different if it had been a car with intent to sod off.

Phillipe gave me a set of front and rear cams which he could never get working and nor could I and if I trip over them in the garage one more time I shall scream.
