Just joined today so hello all. I am cheating slightly as have put a deposit down on a K1300R today and will pick it up when the weather picks up. (Sorry but I stopped winter riding when I could afford a car and a bike)
This is my sixth bike and I had promised herself that I would reduce from 5 not add one !!

Anyway I am sure I will be asking for lots of help with the new purchase.

It's not cheating. You don't actually have to have a K to be allowed in. We're so desperate we even let Yamaha riders in here  8)

And don't feel you have to justify not dying in the winter :). I've been out about ten times since December, and the bike is still filthy a day after cleaning!

What colour is this new bike? I forget what the options were!
