Hello from Kent
« on: November 21, 2016, 07:23:01 pm »
Hello everyone, just signed up after finding the site the other day.
I'm from East Kent, have had a K1300s since late August, this is my first BMW bike after several 1000 sports bikes over the years.
Doing my research and will be firing some questions your way soon.
Cheers, Jay.

Hi Jay
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Hi Jay and welcome to the madhouse that is EuroKClub!

East Kent? Isn't that known as Holland? God forbid, it might mean you are from Belgium  8)

Glad you found us, we've been lost for almost two years now  ;D

Brian (who says bring on the questions, we have all the answere, just not necessarily the correct ones   ::) )

Cheers fellas, ha ha, nearer to France than all but one English City really. Not that I ever go, though now I have the K13 that will probably change.

Hello and welcome.

Now you have a K1300S the travelling to France (and beyond) is mandatory.  :)  The K1300S is at its best  eating big miles one day then blasting mountain passes the next.
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.
