Luton airport is a gated community - they charge you to get out, and a pretty price too. Drop off at Luton charge you £2 for the privilege, and a day parking in short stay is £40.

£2.50 for 10 minutes and excess if you are over time.
Plus they keep changing the layout of the pick up/drop off parking.
When picking up I park outside the area and wait for a call when passengers are exiting the building.
Better they wait for you arrive.

Don't forget the mobile camera checking out anyone daring to pick someone up without paying for the privilege. Load of robbers.
When we get picked up at Munich airport the car can be parked at the main entrance for up to 30 minutes for free.

One bloke went into the approach road by mistake,
turned round in an entrance to a field or something
Camera clocked him
and he received an £80 fine notification.
Don't know how he got on with his appeal.
