The trouble with long running threads is that a lot of useful content is lost because it is not searchable by thread title. So new members may not find the useful content when they perform a search.
If you have the content of a thread that it relevant to the title it helps members find what they are looking for.
I am reluctant to lock the thread, I would rather you start new thread yourselves for the reasons stated above.
Do you want me to put all the piccies in a thread about the rear brake disc? Apart from the pics I'm about to load, I'm done for now, we'll be back to the 1000mile pics until I lay my hands on a front stand.
The point I am trying to make is, there is some really good information here on brakes and discs.
First of all this thread is in the Gripes Bitches and Whinges section, and secondly the thread title is Coincidences and the weather.
So if a new member was searching for information on brakes or discs, they are not going to search in this section or search for coincidences and the weather are they?
We try to make this site usable for everyone.
