Congrats Andy! I might being a bit thick here but I'm damned if I can see from the photos which bit of the bike was infringing the 'line'  :o
if you look at the first pic Brian and zoom it in, you will be able to see the cut in the pavement slabs that apparently delineate the bounds of the parking area, he is obviously miles outside it and should be crucified forthwith!! what a load of tosspots the parking dept must employ! I know common sense is out of fashion, but seriously......... ::)

You can't mean the diagonal line surely? Who in their right mind would think that was a delineating line?

The really tragic thing is that the jobsworth parking officer, the people who wrote me 3 letters, the Holborn council arranging the tribunal and the council lawyer are all paid by me, you and all the friendly tax payers.

All in all, a complete waste of all our money.

Just avoid careless positioning yourself within poorly defined rhomboidal bays. I know I will!

Newbury have solved all the on-street parking problems. They made them all pay-by-phone only sometime last year! Haven't seen a single car in any pbp bay since! Sorry, one. He obviously has a permit of some kind as he lives right in the middle of a string of bays with no driveway! Wither that or he has a squillion quid fine coming...
