Thanks Rae, I'll plot it on paper!

Dumb southerner question but is there a bike toll on the Humber Bridge?
The internet suggests bikes are the exception - as in no toll.

Cheers...

The bridge is free to Bikes, they'll give you a wave through.

....but watch the barrier!

The rule on the Severn crossing is bikes go free but you have to stop at the barrier.

Last time I went over, there was me stopped like a good boy and smiling sweetly at the sweet young thing in the booth and she was smiling back and I smiled some more and then it dawned on me....

....the sweet young thing in the box had already opened the barrier  8)

Rock on Tommy!

The bridge has a tag lane which registers regular tag users and also bikes, so take that lane and no barriers. Its marked on the approach.

I'd love to come out on this trip and meet everyone - sadly I will be away this weekend watching the only "proper" sport - it's the Superleague "Magic Weekend" all superleague fixtures played in one stadium over one weekend at St James Park in that their Newcastle.

I'll look for the next trip and try and make that.

Well, not 'everyone' is going, so you're not missing much  8)

Next trip where you can meet 'everyone' is the 'Wrinklies Chasing the Sun' in August sometime....

One to beware of, Rae:

The write-up suggests it's run weekends only, but who knows...
