Akrapovic DB killer/noise damper wanted - NO LONGER REQUIRED

Hi, does anyone know where I might find a db killer for the BMW Akrapovic slip-on? Just bought one second-hand and it doesn't have it in. I think it's the standard one that came on the Motorsport models.

I think I've found a part number (V-TUV050)  but not entirely sure.

Or if there's a generic newer one that fits? Any help is appreciated!

You could also try Calsport - they seem to sell a lot of Akra db killers on eBay, are UK-based and have a number you can ring first - or email them.

Have you tried where you bought it from? They might have it lying on a shelf in the gararge.

I’ve had dealings with Calsport and in fairness he’s been fine, just remember he’s a guy in a room, still smile when I said i’ll Pop round and collect and he said ‘I carry zero stock’ he just organises things as a third party.

Yes that is the correct part number ( TUV-050 ) as well.

I understand that you bought the exhaust second hand. Have you tried where you bought it from? They might have it lying on a shelf in the garage?

When I bought my bike the dealer had removed the baffle and forgot to give it to me. They had to search around quite a bit to find it when I chased them up. For all I know they might have pinched it from another bike.

I'd suggest contacting Akrapovic direct https://www.akrapovic.com/en/about/contact and asking how much a replacement is. I contacted Remus exhausts direct a couple of years ago when I bought a second hand Remus can without a DB killer and was very pleasantly surprised that they were both extremely helpful and offered a replacement at a very reasonable price.

Motocard have them at £29.93 plus £8.50 delivery. Don't recon you will find it cheaper anywhere else other than second hand, good luck with that!
