I might be tempted to its mile munching ability if only it were physically smaller and lighter. The reason i didn't go from an fj12 to an fjr13 was the latter was a ship in full sail in comparison. I actually went to an fj11 (which had1300 barrels but thats another story). And this why i'm more likely to be on a k13s not a k16 when this k12s wears out.

Late emerging biker - took the first bike plunge at 50 with a 12GT : swapped for a 13S 9 months in... then got my mitts on a lovely 2014 13R Dynamic in rrrrrracing rrrrred! Then the COVID came along... so I upped it to France and bought a V85TT... O Sole Mio etc etc!

What you sayin'; K12S's don't last forever.....

I actually think that BM have lost the design philosophy plot, big time.

What is next in a year or two, a 2 litre, bigger version of the K16 with a free Charles Atlas Bullworker thrown in and that's showing my age rather more than somewhat.

With two front wheels....

And perhaps two rear wheels to boot....

And a boot....

Or an estate arse end....

And perhaps they could they call it a, erm, let me see; a 5 Series?

Any takers for the ultimate sports touring driving machine. I might get one.

Oh no, actually I have one already, except it has an Audi quattro badge and a more manageable 3 litre motor!

To me all has to do with the reconstruction firm is going through in agony to deliver electric cookers or cokers depending where you stand.
So at EICMA for yet one more rime they deliver the same products making minor adjustements, some engine tune up, design changes,  new colors (disgusting imho) and nothing more. 
Maybe for this reason my dealer, no 1 in sales here, left BMW to KTM , only maintaining its service department (yuppies).
