Thanks guys :'(
I too Chris had both a 1100s and the 1200st loved the s the st not so the st swaped it after throwing it down the road the rs is a lot more balanced feels very light with accurate stearing the demo had only done 500 miles but was fine two up for 90 mins test ride. Traveld  from Wolverhampton to Bridge north then back to the stew poney ( pub now gone but the name lingers on) then back up the A449 back to Wolverhampton roads i gues you know well ;). The fast  k bike was was begining to becaome the issue as well as we all know hi speed with very little effort  ;D
was not good form my licence which i need for work so that did have some input
Cheers
Brian
will let you know how things go

Well After 5 years on K bikes its time for a change but still a BMW ....... Its a R1200RS Sport in lupin blue & white less power i know but so much lighter and more nimble and easy for me to manage two up with fully loaded and no big clunk into fist makes a nice change. Pick t up next weekend which gives me a week to get 600 mile on it for its first service which will be fun as i dont use it for work then off on the monday to Europe for 10 days. Mad i know
cheers
Brian
i will be sticking around on here

Kit Reviews / Re: Waterproofs
« on: May 04, 2015, 10:21:59 pm »
Hi fjtwelve
Me I use Halverson 's as they do different 3 different leg lenths for each waist size. on my third jacket
1. Cut off me after an rta
2. After 5 years use serviceable but looking passed its best
3. 4 weeks old and loving it.
I have re proofed the trousers  a couple. Of times looking good after 5 years.
After  seeing me crash testing the first jacket quite a few friends from the local bike
Group started by there kit too.
It's  not cheap but is good. Quality  you get what you pay for I have found over the years

Yep carry a slime (where do they get these names from)
From nippy Normans along with a tyre plugger when touring.
But you need to run it directly from the battery as the startup load
is to much for the aux socket.
